The Moon Reflects in Many Rivers
Solo Exhibition of Rabin Huissen
月映三川|瑞彬·赫尔森个人作品展
02.02-27.02,2024
The exhibition ‘The Moon Reflects in Many Rivers’ showcases a series of works by artist Rabin Huissen. These works, created over the past few years, explore the multifaceted nature of the human body and its connections to various meanings, time, and space. Through these explorations, Huissen transforms the body into a space for inner self-reflection and external interaction, activating the surrounding environment and fostering emotional connections with those who enter the space. This allows viewers to be fully present ‘in the moment’ and experience a unique sense of connection.
In his artistic practice, Huissen uses the body as a venue for creative production and a medium for engaging with both the inner self and the external world. By doing so, he invites emotional communication between the space where the body exists and those who enter it. This enables viewers to simultaneously exist in the ‘here and now’ as well as in an alternate reality, engaging with the body’s experiences and the quiet moments of life.
